Surreal Guitars For Serum
Five really damn good synth guitar DI presets in Serum with stereo and mono variations. Perfect for layering and using with your amps and distortion pedals. Includes custom wavetables and noise samples.
Be warned: These don’t play exactly like guitars (realistic palm mutes, taps, slides, etc) because it is still a synth. But that’s part of the charm. And these presets are cheap so you should try them for yourself.
Note: this pack is the same as the one on NOISE DEPT.

How to use these presets
Simply open Serum and process it through your favorite guitar amp. Play with the velocity and mod wheel to get more realistic articulations.
The “Chug” presets mostly always sound like chugs. The “Sustain” presets mostly always sound like sustain. You may want to switch off between two serum instances.
You can treat these presets just like you would treat your guitar. If the tone is too sharp or too muddy, try using an EQ!
For best results, try layering these sounds under real guitar playing. They are not a replacement for real performance (but you can try - it probably sounds cool).
