How To Use These Presets
Simply open Serum, load the preset, and play the same notes as your guitar riff. I prefer when they match each other, but there are no rules.
Any preset that is named with “mod” is trying to tell you that you should move the mod wheel while you play it. That is where the best sounds will come from.
You will probably need to use an EQ with Serum to make sure it blends in nicely. In fact, you may want to route Serum into your guitar bus so they all get glued together.
All of these presets can be used without a guitar too. They just sound like distorted synths. I highly recommend that you try it.
